Brides the Show 2016

Posted by DIMITRIA JORDAN

We recently exhibited for the second time at Brides the Show and what a show it was! It was fantastic to once again meet lots of lovely brides and talk to them about their wedding plans and stationery, whether they were with their fiancé, friends or family.

This year we wanted our wedding stationery to shine the most on our stand with a clean and simple look. Our white and gold stand details ensure this was achieved.

Our stars of the show (below L-R):

  • Have you ever imagined what your venue and tables could look like on your special day? Our mockup table complete with sequin tablecloth, rose gold cutlery and items from our ‘Anthi’ wedding stationery collection helped many brides visualise!
  • Our Anthi’ wedding stationery collection which comes in 5 style variations was the most popular wedding invitation style with our brides – the combinations of romantic flowers and beautiful script fonts are definitely winners! With colour changes included, there are so many possibilities to have to suit your theme, and this is what brides loved too.
  • Our glitter lined envelope as part of a bespoke commission we worked on had lots of attention! The light pink and champagne gold glitter is a truly gorgeous combination... We love being able to offer glitter lined envelopes across any of our invitations as they can really add to the overall look of your wedding stationery.

We were also delighted our 'Dorchester' wedding stationery was part of the show Look Book Live in the ‘Blue’ section.

As part of our table mockup, we were delighted to work with Samina at Mon Dessert to create macaron favours to match our ‘Anthi’ wedding stationery...wrapped in cello bags with a matching favour tag, they were adorable! Many of our designs can be adapted for macarons, making it a lovely extra detail for your day to match your stationery. Watch this space...

We were so excited to launch our exclusive new collaboration with Lost Heritage at the show with three gorgeous letterpress invitation sets. Our ‘Skyline’ wedding stationery collection has been adapted specifically for letterpress with a simple modern skyline in gold foil (so pretty!). Our bespoke skyline service also means you could have any skyline, and printed in any foil colour such as rose gold or silver to suit your theme perfectly. Our pattern (based on our Geo : Paris wedding stationery) and floral designs were also loved among our brides.

As well as meeting lots of brides, it’s always nice to be an exhibitor as you get to see industry friends and make new ones. It was fab being neighbours with Georgia’s Cakes (below left) and Potcakes this year, and it was lovely to see Grandirosa (below right) and Rellini Art Studio (centre) (our neighbours from last year!)

Other exhibitors we loved included Sari Cakes (below left), who we finally got to meet at the show, The Source Inspires (centre) who we are a part of in their Rising Star section, and Bluebell Kitchen (below right) who we were also excited to finally meet!

Overall it was a great show - we had lots of fun and I look forward to working with brides on their wedding stationery. A special thank you also goes to my beautiful sister Christa for helping out (I couldn’t have done it without her!)

Wishing you a lovely day,

Dimitria x
